German Chocolate Cake Frosting

1 cup canned milk (evaporated milk)
1 cup sugar
3 egg yolks
1 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/3 cup coconut
1 cup chopped pecans

Combine milk, sugar, yolks and margarine. Stir over medium heat till mixture thickens (about 12 minutes) Add coconut, vanilla and pecans. Let cool stir occasionally. Frosts a 9x13 or 2 round layers.
